About the Author

Conor lives at the intersection of AI, neuroscience, and philosophy, using data and technology to understand and reinforce the best parts of human experience. He transitioned to the tech sector after spending four years leveraging data for more impactful economic development initiatives taking place in Sub-Saharan Africa. Since then he has held a variety of positions including:

• Chief Science Officer at Flow Research Collective running experiments in the science of peak performance

• Staff Data Scientist and people manager for machine learning at Databricks leading applied data science projects

• Scientific Advisor and Founding LP in Lionheart Ventures investing in mental health startups

• Faculty member for University of New Haven and Galvanizes’s masters program in Data Science teaching distributed machine learning

Outside of cerebral pursuits, Conor enjoys playing with gravity whether through action sports like skydiving, BASE jumping, and skiing or by lifting heavy things.
